Optilaser 9000 is a Utility in Wasteland 3. Utility are categorized as accessories, it is an extension of the player's equipment that provides extra buffs, multiple effects, and to boost their stats when it is worn. Utility can be looted from chests, crates, dropped by enemies, or purchased from merchants.
Normally, human eyes and lasers don't mix. Except this eye, which shoots lasers. Lasers that blind other people's eyes. Also, this eye requires the removal of one of your eyes. That removal is performed with lasers.

As of the date of this comment, there are buggy interactions between this item and brawlers/melee characters (No ammo), equipping a ranged weapon (proficient or otherwise) seems to solve the issue.I have tested and it does not seem to use any ammo whatsoever. Expect a fix soon, until then use it on a dedicated range character to avoid the janky gameplay.

The AoE is at the end of the shot and is roughly the size of a grenades AoE. Devastating dmg for 3ap. Put it on my sniper since its glitched for brawlers
